Marsalkka Luomuvehnä

Well met. If you happen to read this and then on an off chance decide to continue reading, congratualations! You might want to check out the rest of the posts published earlier. If you aren't fluent in swedish then you face a problem. Maybe teh Google translate can help you in your quest for knowledge. Alas, I have doubt anyone would go through the trouble. In any case. This is a small blog about beers and how i perceive them. I do not say I am a master in the arts of beer, nor do I even think i know how a good beer should taste. What I do know is that i either like it or I don't. Simple. Do I feel ashamed of my often not so deep analyses of beers that have taken centuries to form? Maybe. Try to get over it. -- In Finland we have this thing called Luomu. It's something ecologically produced. No additives and toxins and things like that are used in the process of growing the seeds and whatever you use in the product. So, today my beer was luomu. I am a little sceptic against luomu. The price is quite alot higher but the taste is the quite the same. I havent tried luomu and non luomu head to head so I can't say for sure. But for me, the excess price for the same taste isn't worth it. Some people say the additives are the worst. So is excess sugar, fat, exhausts from vehicles, smoking and *gasp* alcohol. I just don't see the point. Some do, I don't.
The beer then. It was a wheat beer... that i spilled. Yes, I spilled half of the beer across the table, which took pretty much of the edge of this analysis. It was really good. I like normal wheat beer and this was frikkin luomu for christs sake!!1!! No really, it was quite good. Quite bitter, more bitter than other wheat beers in my opinion. I would have loved some more of it, but no. It will remain a distant memory. However I'll get some more of it in the near future. So, this was my analysis. Quite shallow. What can I say? Deal with it? Until next time -P-
