Perlenbacher Pilsener v1.2

Well met yet again. I felt obliged to put in a better word for this beer. The day after i wrote the last post, I drank the notorious second bottle. And, to my surprise, it did taste much better. Maybe I was in a bad mood when i drank the first bottle. I cannot say. There still was bitterness,yes, but it wasn't that bad. An okay beer for the cost. Still, no firework of multifaceted tastes. But what could you expect?

Perlenbacher Pilsener

Well met. A long time since my last post. Believe it or not, I haven't been drinking nearly at all. I must be sick or something… I promise I'll try to drink some more from now on. You don't hear a manly-man say that often, do you? After being encouraged by my dear fan (notice, "fan" not "fans), I decided to write a new entry. Pilsenbacher. Straight outta Lidl. Really cheap, 1,5€ per bottle. Since i rarely go to Lidl and today I happened to go there, I didn't want to waste my chance so i grabbed two bottles. I do have some doubts about this one, since Lidl is known for their sub-par quality. It remains to be seen…

The beer. Very lightly colored and a cool see-through bottle. Carlsberglike.

I know. The drinking glass isn't a typical beer glass. Blasphemy! So sue me.

The beer itself… a quite light taste but with a nasty bitterness that turns the sensation into a not so good one. Easy to drink, not a big taste, a small, fast one. But the bitterness ruins it. I regret buying two bottles… not overly bad though. If you want cheap beer then this is it. Want a taste sensation? Not so much.
